Algo Group was born from the merge of two historic companies: Miraglio Spa and Algo Spa. Miraglio Spa was founded in 1955 and became a point of reference in the Automotive sector for what concerns the lines of handles, closures and door locks for both cars and trucks.
Algo Spa was founded in 1978 and immediately became the original equipment supplier for the electrification of the first window regulators assembled on production cars.
In the following years, thanks to important investments and acquisitions, it became an original equipment manufacturer and the largest manufacturer of window regulators for the Aftermarket in Italy.
Merging to the two companies under one ownership.
Sale of the nascent Algo – Miraglio Group to the current owner (Private Equity Ardian) who initiates the merger between the two companies.
The merger is completed and Algo Group Spa is born.
Despite the pandemic situation and the consequent difficulties, Algo Group carries on its projects achieving important results.
