Albavilla (Italy), December 10, 2025 – Algo Group, a leading company in the design, manufacture, and distribution of window regulators and handles, announces the appointment of Stefano Sanguineti as R&D Innovation Manager, a strategic step in the group's technological growth.
The company is stepping up its investment in research and development, recognizing innovation as a key element in ensuring high-tech solutions and systems for the future. This scenario is the background for the appointment of Sanguineti, who has long been an integral part of the team and a key figure in the window regulator segment.
In Algo since 2018 as Technical Manager for the window regulator products, in his new role Sanguineti will lead the company's technological evolution by coordinating applied innovation projects and the development of advanced door solutions and systems for customers across the entire Algo product range. His appointment to the executive board confirms the group's desire to leverage internal expertise, invest in managerial growth, and ensure continuity in a long-term strategy based on technical excellence, research, and development. Sanguineti's technical experience and vision will be pivotal in successfully addressing future challenges in the OE and aftermarket sectors, completing the company’s product range, and introducing new product categories and technological updates.
Bruno Vallillo, CEO of Algo Group, has commented: "I am extremely pleased with the progress made so far. We are working on several aspects to further strengthen Algo's leadership in the OE and Aftermarket sectors, expanding our offering, accelerating our ability to upgrade and investing in innovation, both in systems and products. With the appointment of Stefano Sanguineti, we are embarking on a technological journey of great importance, with a clear goal: to offer our customers increasingly advanced technological solutions and opportunities."
In the independent aftermarket segment, mindful of market developments and increasingly specific customer needs, Algo Group continues to expand its range of window regulators, introducing nine new codes, all relating to window regulator mechanisms. With this update, the range now includes 1,300 mechanisms, of which 1,203 are complete and 62 are panels, these currently undergoing expansion.
New additions include mechanisms for the BMW X3 (from 2017), BMW X5 (from 2013 to 2018), and third-generation Ford KA+ (from 2014). Like the entire Algo Group range, these new products are original or equivalent to the original and guarantee high quality standards in line with those required by car manufacturers.
Every aftermarket product embodies the know-how that Algo Group has gained through years of experience in the OE sector, a technical heritage that translates into a rigorous internal design, approval, and production process. A team dedicated to product design and validation ensures that the aftermarket product portfolio is constantly updated in accordance with OE standards to provide original or equivalent solutions. The R&D Innovation Team works to provide the original equipment market with high-tech and highly reliable products and solutions. Algo has an extensive experience in the design and manufacture of products for applications that require high performance in highly variable climatic conditions, such as solutions for sports cars or industrial vehicles intended to travel in extreme conditions.
In 2026, important new developments are coming that will further strengthen the group's market leadership and enable it to offer customers even more comprehensive and effective services and solutions.
